On December 28th, Kevin’s brother died, suddenly, in a motorcycle accident. So many of my interests, books, movies, TV, music and more can be directly connected to him. I’ve been struggling to find a way to express myself so these podcasts are dedicated to his life and how much he influenced me through arts and entertainment. I talk a lot in the beginning in a kind of “eulogy”, but you can skip to 22:00 if you wish not to hear that portion.
Eulogy, Red Dwarf, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, The Ruburns
A level 3 meth-head gets magical powers…oh, and we bought a car! We explore the world of the Rajneeshees’ with the Netflix series “Wild, Wild, Country”. Lastly, our super long discussion of Avengers: Infinity War. Did we both survive?
We admit our unconditional love for the “sax guy” (Tim Capello) from the Lost boys followed by lots of fart talk. Erica and Kevin review some very different animes. Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid and Psycho Pass. Ending this fart train with our thoughts on Game of Thrones Season 7.
Kevin time travels and reminds you to keep your head on a swivel. We found the new Twin Peaks we were looking for and it is in Fargo. Rose City Comic-Con happened last weekend and we’re here to report on some great panels.
The premiere of Erica’s poetry! Grumpy Kevin wants you to get the hell out of the cashier line. We got professional artwork done! Erica reviews David Lynch’s new student film project, Twin Peaks (2017). We wrap it up with a review of Netflix’s Death Note.
Kevin attempted to record a podcast alone which led to some self realizations. Erica’s monkey expectations. Kevin reviews Noragami and Erica gives her thoughts on Time of Eve. We finish it off the amazing Wonder Woman.
We start out romanticizing space after Kevin sets up his telescope for the first time. Erica talks about inter-library loans and a book about the 90s cult hit “My So Called Life”. We recommend books to read to each other and finish it up with our thoughts on Marvel’s Iron Fist.
Kevin finds romance in an unexpected place and comes out looking better than when he went in. Erica is procrastinating on a big project so we watched a lot of Netflix. Lots of men intimidating each other on display in Frontier and the live action Attack on Titan movie. But there is hope for Erica in the form of Habitica, an app that D&Dizes you life.
